This is only temporary (2021) explores fulfilling moments of sexual desire with someone regardless of how long this created moment will last. Pulling from my experiences within what is dubbed as "hook-up culture," I am thinking about creating these temporary queer spaces with someone and being wanted by someone sexually without the pressures of pursuing something further.

Additionally, this work also serves as a performative act as I am photographing myself with someone close to me whom I've previously had a sexual relationship with. The two of us are recreating this moment of passion and desire through our touch knowing this is only an act and we are performing fro the camera.

The work is split into two sets of triptychs one photographed digitally amplifying the pink/salmon wall of the room we are in, and the other photographed on 4x5 black and white film that was then cropped in focusing on where our two bodies interlock and meet.
